Partner Program FAQ
Partner Program FAQ
Everything you need to know about partnering with the Readiness for Change Institute.
Getting Started
Who can become an RCI partner?
We welcome partners from a wide range of backgrounds, including criminal defense attorneys, public defenders, bail bondsmen, social workers, case managers, reentry organizations, justice reform advocates, nonprofits, and community leaders. If your audience includes individuals navigating the criminal justice system, you are a strong candidate for this partnership.
How do I apply?
Submit your application on our Become an RCI Partner page. Once reviewed, you will receive your unique referral link, discount code, and onboarding materials.
Is there a cost to join?
No. There is no fee to become an RCI partner.
Do I need a website or social media following to apply?
Not necessarily. Partners who refer clients directly — such as attorneys or social workers — can share their referral link one-on-one. A large online following is not required.
Commissions & Payouts
How much do I earn per referral?
You earn 20% commission on every enrollment completed through your unique referral link.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly. Your earnings are tracked automatically through the partner portal.
How are commissions tracked?
Each partner receives a unique referral link. Any enrollment completed through that link is automatically attributed to your account. You can monitor your referrals and earnings in real time through your partner portal.
Is there a minimum payout threshold?
Yes. Payouts are issued once your commission balance reaches $50 — approximately one enrollment. Balances below $50 roll over to the following month until the threshold is met.
What payment methods are available?
Payouts are available via Venmo, debit card, or check. You will select your preferred payment method when setting up your partner account. Please contact us at info@therci.net if you have questions about payment options.
Referral Links & Discount Codes
What is my referral link?
Your referral link is a unique URL assigned to your partner account. When someone clicks your link and completes an enrollment, the commission is credited to you automatically.
What discount does my audience receive?
Your audience receives 10% off any REady for REform program using your unique discount code. This gives them an incentive to enroll and makes it easier for you to promote the programs.
Can I use my own referral link to make a purchase?
Self-referrals are not eligible for commission. Referral links are intended for use by your audience, clients, or followers.
How long does my referral link stay active?
Your referral link remains active as long as your partner account is in good standing. There is no expiration on your link.
The Programs
What programs am I promoting?
The REady for REform program is a self-paced, non-therapeutic behavioral change education program available for individuals charged with:
- Domestic Violence
- Theft & Shoplifting
- Possession of Illegal Drugs
- Unlawful Neglect of a Child
- Other non-violent charges — considered on a case-by-case basis
If your client or audience member is facing a charge not listed above, please contact us at info@therci.net to discuss whether a REady for REform program may be appropriate for their situation.
Are these therapy or counseling programs?
No. The REady for REform programs are strictly educational. They are not therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment of any kind. This is an important distinction to communicate clearly to your audience.
What does a participant receive upon completion?
Upon completing the program, participants receive a certificate of completion and a signed letter from Dr. Carey Dukes, Founder of the Readiness for Change Institute, summarizing their accomplishment — suitable for submission to their attorney or the court.
Will the court accept the certificate?
Acceptance is at the discretion of the presiding judge and prosecuting attorney. We recommend that participants consult with their attorney before enrolling. As a partner, please communicate this clearly to your audience to set appropriate expectations.
